We're a very small indie developer, we don't have the resources to keep fighting hacks all the time and we wish people would just have fun playing the game. This hack forces us to stop doing cool stuff to update the game in order for us to spend time trying to come up with ways to not hack, this makes the game terrible to everyone and updates comes with less frequency because of that.
So when people hack everyone loses, the developers, the hackers, the players...
